Seeking: Part-time Acupuncturist

Despite the uncertainty and change that COVID-19 has brought, our practice is growing quickly and steadily! We are seeking an associate to join an established practice who is dedicated, responsible, professional, hardworking and can handle even the most challenging patients with a smile. Candidate should be available 1-2 days per week with potential to grow. $25-30 per patient visit starting wage.

Job requirements: Registered to practice Acupuncture in the State of Michigan properly following all supervision laws & guidelines; Certified by the NCCAOM; Master’s degree in TCM; Maintain malpractice insurance (minimum 1M each claim/ 3M aggregate); Credentialed through CAQH preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities: Strong, clear oral and written communication skills; Excellent assessment and documentation skills; Able to continually maintain a safe and clean treatment environment while adhering to Clean Needle Technique protocols; complying with procedures, rules and laws; Highly skilled in treating orthopedic conditions, distal and local techniques; Adhere to strict HIPPA guidelines and rules; Ability to make patients feel safe and comfortable during acupuncture treatments; Exceptional time management skills; ability to treat multiple patients

Other Desired Qualifications: Friendly, outgoing demeanor; professional reputation/appearance; punctual; Be flexible and ethical; culturally sensitive and respectful in all interactions; Able to work evenings; Saturdays possibly, but not required; Desire to grow to Full Time and commitment to patient loyalty and retention; Ability to assimilate to the existing policies and procedures of, and contribute positively to an already efficiently running practice
