Please join MiSA for this FREE 1 unit class with Micelle Gellis. In this course students will learn microneedling techniques to utilize when working on patients with acne and acne scars. Microneedling aligns with the principles of Chinese medicine by addressing both internal and external causes of acne and acne scars. It harmonizes the skin’s surface (Wei Qi) with underlying systemic imbalances. The stimulation of collagen production parallels the activation of Qi and Blood circulation, promoting natural healing and rejuvenation. Microneedling can be used in conjunction with acupuncture points and herbal therapies to enhance outcomes, addressing root causes of skin issues such as Dampness, Heat, and Qi stagnation.
